Abstract :

The Tubifex sp culture experiment was conducted to obseve optimum water flow rete by using different combination of chicken manure and pond soil to obtained maximum production of Tubifex sp culture.This experiment has two stages comprise to introduction and main research.Tubifex sp was cultured in plastic pools of 38 x 28 x 12 cm using water flow rate the main research were 300 ml/minute, 375 ml/minute, 450 ml/minute, and 525 ml/minute. Stocking rate was 1 indivdual Tubifex sp per 1 cm2.The result indicated that water rate 525 ml/minute have high produced of population Tubifex sp with an average density of 7 individuals per cm2..
