Abstract :
Learning methods for children with Mental Reta rdation should be noted at this time because there are still many who applied Classical Learning, as in Reguler Classroom where Mental Retardation children will not be able to develop its potential use of the Learning methods. Cooperative Learning methods of TAI more emphasize to cooperate in which later will develop self-motivation in a subject so that it can improve the result of learning math. Researchers tried to use Cooperative Learning methods of TAI in the majors because of the mathematical methods of TAI has excess can make students support each other and help each other to strive because they all wanted their team to succed. Researchers apply experiment with Single Subject Design. Sampling technique with saturate which researcher use all populatio ns to be research subject. There is data that has been analyzed by one individual with using descriptive statistic, is analysis graph, analysis between conditions and the analysis of the condition.The Subjects are 6 children (N=6) and sitting in the class VII. The results of research get the effectiveness of cooperative learning to increase result of learning mathematics child of Mental Retardation
