Abstract :

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of soybean flour in the dietary formulation to caecum injury and changes in the number of goblet cells were exposed to the broiler caecal coccidiosis. Twenty of broiler chickens at 15 days old were randomized into 4 treatment groups. P0 fed basal and not infected E. tenella. P1 fed basal added with 35% soybean flour and not infected E. tenella.P2 fed basal and infected. P3 fed basal added 35% soy flour and infected. Data obtained from the lession score analyzed by Kruskall Wallis test, while the goblet cell count data were analyzed by ANOVA. The results showed that soybean meal canned reduce the lesion score of the cecal (p>0.05) and had no effect on the increasing number of cecal goblet cells (p> 0.05) of coccidia infected broiler.
