Abstract :
male epispadias without urinary incontinence is a rare case. urethral malformation were found with the urethral meatus opens in proximal position on the dorsum side of the penis, accompanied by a distal urethral plate. 2 cases was reported, 5 and 11 years old boys, came to the urology outpatient department soetomo hospital surabaya, with chief complain urethral meatus opens in proximal of the dorsal of penis. they were diagnosed with penopubic epispadia type without incontinence. both patients shows urethral meatus opens from distal until proximal of the dorsum side of penis, orifisium urethral externus at the penopubic, preputium ventral penis and dorsal chordee. the goals of treatment include reconstruction of normal urinary control and establishment of a straight, cosmetically acceptable penis with adequate length that is functional for normal sexual intercourse. the urethral reconstruction procedure in these cases was described by second stage genital surgery, the following steps reconstruction were respected release corpus cavernosum and excision of chordee, urethroplasty and granuloplasty. post operation, both patient achieve good result with normal urinary continence and establishment of a straight, cosmetically acceptable penis with adequate length that is functional for normal sexual intercourse and preservation of renal function.
