Abstract :
Objective: to determine the pattern of urine pH, leukocyturia, nitrituria, and urine culture on urinary stones with infection in Urology of Dr. Soetomo Hospital in 2013. Methods: a retrospective descriptive study was conducted in urinary stones patients with infection in 2013 that were obtained from the medical records. Data taken is urine pH, leukocyturia, nitrituria and urine culture. Results: there is 69 patients (40 men and 29 women) from 305 urinary stones patient.The majority urine pH on urinary stones patients with infection 2013 in Urology Dr. Soetomo Hospital is 5 (33.33%). Leukocyturia proved by leukocyte esterase is positive 4 or 500 cell/µl (66.67%), while proved by leukocyte sediment is greater than 100 cell/field of view (46.38%). Nitrite in urinalysis is 50.72% positive result. Most urine culture was Escherichia coli (27.54%). Conclusion: the majority examination results in urinary stones patients with infection 2013 in Urology of Dr. Soetomo Hospital is urine pH 5, leukocyturia, nitrituria and Escherichia coli in urine culture.
