Abstract :
Torsion of appendix testis, appendix epididymis and the testicle itself are urological emergencies. the cause of torsion remains unclear. trauma, spasm and contractions of the dartos and cremasteric muscle are potential contributing factors. testicular torsion can occur either intravaginal or extravaginal. Testicular and appendiceal torsion are vascular emergencies that need immediate and appropriate treatment. prognosis depends on duration of vascular disturbances. testicular and appendiceal torsion have many similarities with other cases of acute scrotum. wrong diagnosis could lead to delay in treatment and patient morbidity. We report case series of testicular and appendiceal torsion. the purpose of this case series report to be aware in early diagnosis and prompt treatment.
