Abstract :
Rresearch on making of stick chemical sensor for analysis Rhodamine B in food samples has been done. Analysis using stick chemical sensors are semi-quantitative then confirmed quantitatively using spectrophotometric UV-VIS methods. The initial phase on making of chemical sensors in liquid form is to determine the optimum reagent condition. The optimum condition obtained on the volume of reagent solution to 1 ml of zinc solution 2 M and 2 ml of thiocyanate solution. Stick chemical sensor made from sol gel method using tetraetilortosilika (TEOS) as precursor. The series of color intensity created as a reference for semi-quantitative analysis of the variation in the concentration rhodamine B (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 14 ppm). In this study were obtained 1,55 ppm of detection limit. Percent recovery for the concentration of 2 ppm, 5 ppm and 14 ppm were 75,6%, 106% and 98,56% respectively. Precision for the concentration of 2ppm, 5 ppm and 14 ppm were 0,087%, 0,053% and 0,022% respectively. Linearity expressed by the correlation coefficient r = 0.9937 from standard solution, whereas the sensitivity obtained from the calibration sensitivity (slope) of 0.0447 L/mg. Measurements are also performed on food sample (klepon) and the measurements resul obtained at 4,86 ± 0,045 mg/g, with percent recovery 97,2%.
