Abstract :

Legally Indonesia, including States that ratify the Convention of the United Nations (UN) on the rights of children, both the rights of socially, economically and politically. In fact, Indonesia is still not able to guarantee the fulfillment of these rights. One of the problems that occurs is exploitation by parents against children. Exploitation is not only violate the rights of children, the exploitation of the child's parents also bring harm to children, both physical and psychiatric impact children. Issues examined in this study is what lies behind the occurrence of exploitation, how the forms of exploitation, the resistance of children to parents and how the impact of the exploitation. Literature review to reinforce the findings are referencesto the law on child protection and child abuse theory. This study used qualitative research methods. The location of this study are in Alun-alun Lamongan. The data collection is done by observation and interviews with triangulation techniques. The study shows that the background of the exploitation of parents of children is related to the economic conditions of their families (poverty), the conditions are not harmonious family and divorce of parents, as well as the social environment of children related to the influence of friends and the ignorance of parents about Act children. Forms of exploitation of the parents of children that includes forms of exploitation in terms of social development, exploitation economically and exploitation in terms of education. Form of resistance that carried child to his parents are lazy, do not set out to hide some income. The impact of the exploitation influence the process of child development, children's education and children's health.
