Abstract :

Method validation parameters such as selectivity, linearity, accuracy and precision were determined prior to analysis of nine organophosphate pesticides in vegetables. This method was selective since it could differentiate chromatographic profiles of blank, matrix, and compounds. Moreover, it could specifically identify each compound according to its MS spectrum. Meanwhile, only 4 compounds met acceptance criteria for linearity by having 0.9951-0.9956 and 4.04-4.93 for R2 and Vxo, respectively. Similarly, most of the compounds had recovery of 100-140%, representing accuracy. But, only 4 compounds had coefficient variation of 4.05-4.87% for precision.
