Abstract :

Municipal Health Office conducts the effort to watch the infection HIV/AIDS by second generation surveillance. Data and information of second generation surveillance activity are not be saved in one database. Development of computerize application prototype with standardized form can reduce the resistance. Internet media should connect the surveillance p rograms conducted by many institutions. This research represented operational research. The objective of this research was to develop the design of HIV/AIDS surveillance information system based on internet application. The step of design system covered Context Diagram, Data Flow Diagram, System Flow Chart, Data Normalization and Entity Relationship Diagram. Data were collected by the in-depth interview and document study. In-depth interview was conducted to respondent from East Java Municipal Health Office, East Java KPAD, UTD PMI Surabaya, Dr. Soetomo Hospital Surabaya and East Java Laboratory o f Health. The Output of this application was HIV/AIDS indicator covering the indicator of HIV and syphilis prevalence pursuant to age group, AIDS surveillance prevalence and HIV prevalence of blood donor. The application output of behavioral surveillance were indicators of behavioral survey covering the percentage of using condom at last comme rcial sex visit, percentage always using condom at comme rcial sex visit in last week and percentage of using injected drug.
