Abstract :

The objective of this research was to describe the character of cronic renal failure patients and family effort of patient's care. Thesample were 44 patients of cronic renal failure in Dr. Soetomo Hospital. The reseach design was cross sectional and data were analizeddescriptively.The result of this research revealed that average age of respondents is 52 years old, 77.3% male, 61.4% government officer, 88.6% marriedand they have 3 children at average, 59.1% they live out of Surab aya city, they live with their own family and 47,7% senior high School.
