Abstract :
Life satisfaction, one of dominant interests in positive psychology, has been found extremelyimportant for understanding life experience of individuals, including volunteers. However, there werefew researches undertook on this subject. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationshipbetween meaning of life and leader's servant characteristics, with respondents overall evaluation oflife. Volunteering work people who met the inclusion criterions completed a set of questionnaires forlife satisfaction scale, PIL test, servant leadership scale, and demographic questions. Results showthat meaning of life didn't serve as mediator in the influence of servant leadership for lifesatisfaction, but both serve as predictors of volunteers' life satisfaction. Limitations and implicationsof this study are discussed in the light of possible further research and application.
