Abstract :

Family planning unmet need in Indonesia fl uctuates across years. This research was conducted to know about the factor that infl uenced to family planning unmet need in district of Gresik. The type of research was analyticalobservational and cross sectional approach. The research include comparative research for unmet need and metneed group. Interview are conducted on 118 pairs of fertile age. The subject was taken from population by stratifi edrandom sampling. The independent variables of this research is age, education, work status, family income,religion, the attitude of fertile age on family planning programme, and acces of family planning (geography,social, economy, organization, kind and health service quality, and information acces). Examined toward thefactors was infl uenced to unmet need by using multiple logistic regression show that the attitude of fertile ageon family planning programme, social acces, kind and health service quality acces, and information acces havemeaningful effect to unmet need. The conclusion of this research is the attitude factor in pair of fertile age to familyplanning programme, social acces, kind and health service quality acces, and acces to get the information was havemeaningful for family planning unmet need.
