The impact of quality of work life on productivity to employee of production

Abstract :

The purpose of this study was to know whether there is an impact of quality of work life on productivity toemployee of production. Data collecting instruments used for this study are questionnaires, in the form ofquality of work life scale (45 valid items) which are given to 32 of employee of production respondents first,and recording sheets to measure productivity of employee. The value of quality of work life scale (r) is0,909. The population of research subject in this study consist of employee of production of packaging (70people). However, sample used in this study are only 29 people (N=29; male=79,3 %, female=20,69%). Thesampling method used in this study is purposive sampling. The data is then analyzed using Simple linearregression analysis. Simple linear regression test is done with the help of SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The resultof this study shows that quality of work life had no effect on productivity employee of production ofpackaging. The value of coefficient F is 0,234 with significance rating of 0,632. The significance rating doesnot meet the requirement p>0,05. Therefore these facts made the hypothesis zero can be accepted andalternative hypothesis is rejected. These findings demonstrate that there is no effect quality of work life onproductivity.
