Abstract :
Work motivation is pull force that caused members of organization have willingness to exert all of abilities such as skill, effort and time intern of their activities that are their responsibilities. This study aims to determine the relationship among work motivation, job performance and job satisfaction in nurses in intensive care unit and emergency of PHC Surabaya. This study use analytic observational research with cross sectional design. The population of this research in ICU and Emergency unit RS PHC Surabaya. The samples are 28 nurses that used stratified random sampling. The dependent variables of study work motivation. The independent variables of this study were job performance and job satisfaction. Analysis of the data used is the correlation spearmen and contingency correlation with 0.05 significance level. The results of 92.9% of respondents have a high motivation to work, 89.3% respondents have high performance, and 78.6% of respondents already getting job satisfaction. The work motivation of nurses has a significant relationship with the nurses performance and contingency correlation value of 0.625. The work motivation of nurses has a significant relationship with the job satisfaction of nurses and contingency correlation value of 0.469. To enhance work motivation on work performance is necessary to give awards or rewards to nurse who worked over the target so it could motivate other workers to work harder. Giving attention to the nurse as frequent consultations between the leaders and workers will make them feel cared and they will work by pleasure.
