Abstract :

Abstract: Lead  (Pb) from contaminated water by the  use  of excessive pesticides or fertilizers and  industrial activity around the  Tebuwung village so pollute pond  water used for Bandeng fish farming. This study is determine the relationship  between the content of lead (Pb) in Bandeng fish with lead (Pb) in the blood  and the health problems of Eligible Couples in the  village of Tebuwung. This research field is an analytical cross sectional method. Number of samples that we took as many as 66 people with the criteria of the respondents had a couple. The results showed that based on the content of lead  in the blood  were  included in the normal category (1.5%), category tolerated  (27.3%), excessive category (54.5%),  and much dangerous category (16.7%).  The  content of lead  (Pb) in blood  specimens of Eligible Couples Tebuwung village was  generally  high.  Variable of food  show  that all variable had no relationship between the content of lead in the blood. For variable health disorders, had no relationship between the content of lead in blood  with health  problems after consuming Bandeng fish. Conclusion mostly  contains of lead  in the  category of excess blood  but it was not associated with the incidence of health problems in the Eligible Couple. It was suggested to do the monitoring of lead contamination in the pond  water and fish by the Health Department Official and Community Health Center of Mentaras.
