Abstract :
This research started from an interest with the reality, in which the initial interest in the topic of thesis about "Doctor Adaptation Strategy to Villagers in Kecamatan Mojoroto Kediri" is when researcher saw a lot of places of traditional and alternative medical treatment practices, from which researcher have the assumption that the surrounding community is still utilizing the treatment in addition to more competent treatment, of course with such circumstances need a doctor's efforts in approaching the surrounding community. From the background, the social setting of this research takes place in the entire Village District Mojoroto, Kediri to be informants in this research. In this study, researcher determine the subject of research, general practitioners who have relationships or have a medical world profession who deal with the common diseases experienced by suburban communities in general, other than that doctors who open the doctor’s practice where around them is still exist alternative and traditional treatment. To analyze this reality, the researcher used qualitative research methods with the help of The Theory of Social Action by Max Weber, who said that in doing the action, society is always motivated from within oneself and from outside oneself, the action is based on instrumental rational action, social act values, social acts of affection and traditional social action. In this case it is clear that, in adaptation with the community, the doctors must have a purpose in acting against the patient treated during the treatment process also the patient and the surrounding community outside the practice site. In this research, it was found and concluded that all forms of doctor’s adaptation strategy to patients and community in Kecamatan Mojoroto Kediri by adjusting to the patient's situation, such as knowing the background of the patient, not using the language and medical term during treatment process, using holistic methods and displaying images so that patients can follow and feel enthusiastic in the treatment process, the doctor's relation built on the patients at the doctor's practice aims at the success of the treatment process as well as doctor-built relationships with patients outside the practice site for the success of the patients’s treatment process and also provide moral support to patients whom doctors refer to a hospital, relationships established by doctors with relationships built with people around the practice that has a goal to receive the doctor with the community around the practice of doctors, doctor’s relationship with other medical personnel in the form of mutual colleagues in terms of work, and doctor relationships built with community leaders who have a goal to make the doctor's relationship with the community around the doctor's practice more closely through the community leaders.
