Abstract :

Given the importance of the role of archives in support of an organization's activities, it is necessary to archive management is good and right through the management of archives. One of the problems encountered in the development of archives governance is the increasing use of digital archives on the organization. To manage digital archives is one of them take advantage of cloud computing-based applications. Interface on the application becomes the bridge that connects the user's information needs with existing resources in organization. One way to evaluate and plan the design of interfaces known as interoperability testing or usability testing. Interoperability or usability test is to measure the ease of use, ease of learning, efficiency and satisfaction. Basic theory used in this research is the heuristic evaluation of Jakob Nielsen famous with ten usability heuristics. This research was conducted against 28 employees of PT. XYZ as part archive respondents or users, in order to determine the level of usefulness (usablity) of application Xcloud. Usability apliaksi Xcloud of the results of our analysis using heuristic ten, hardly encountered any problems in usability. Most of the items heurisitik already in Xcloud, but still there are items that have not been met. Based on the overall acquisition value of the average ten heuristics, which has a number of scores of 2.91 or has a value of 3. This means that according to the scale interval Linkert level of usability of the application Xcloud classified in either category. So the application Xcloud already usable from a user standpoint Xcloud in this case employees of PT. XYZ
