Abstract :
Lapindo mud sample containing thermopile bacteria that produced thermostable proteolytic enzyme has been determined. This research has also been done for determined influence of pH on proteolytic enzyme activity. The activitywas measured in unit / milliliter tyrosine. From 8 isolates, 7 isolates produced proteolysis enzyme and the chosen isolate named L.6 has been choen as the best isolate. Optimal growth and production enzyme have done to know when crude enzyme must be taken. Crude enzymes were taking at 63 hour growth. The enzyme activity test to be done used in pH 6.5 to 11.0 The result show at that optimum proteolytic enzyme activity of chosen isolate is achieved at pH range of 7.0 to 7.5 with activity the value 9.7563 x 10-3 unit / milliliter tyrosine.
