Abstract :

Research had been done to explore the ability as insecticide of several Legundi’s leaf concentrate atsiri’s oil in 50% alcohol against certain insect. Two hundred and ten insect from various species which were involved in the research (including Musca domestica, Lucilia sericata, Stomoxys calcitrans, Heamatobia irritans, Culex sp., and Aedes aegypti) every single insect have been treated by blowing atsiri’s oil Legundi’s leaf of seven different level of concentration (0%, 1%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, and 10%). From 210 insect of various species were picked up 30 insect of repective species for each level contentration. Based on the result Atsiri’s oil Legundi’s leaf can be used as an insecticide against: Haematobia irritans incontentration level of 1%, 2 % for Lucilia sericata and Aedes aegypti , 4% for Musca domestica and Stomoxys calcitrans and 6 % for Culex sp.
