The amount of bull testosterone hormon after gonadorelin hormone therapy

Abstract :

An experimental laboratory has been established by using Teaching Farm Faculty of Veterinary Medicine`s two bulls on desa Tanjung, kabupaten Gresik, suspect infertility with lower libido and ejaculate clinical sign. Blood samples are collected twice a week before treated, and twice other afterward. One milligram of Gonadorelin hormone is injected intra-muscullary each bull. Serum of blood samples calibrating of testosterone hormone using solid phase of Radioimmunoassay. The result of this experiment showed that the average of testosterone hormone level in both bulls are 1.29 ng/ml and 3.0 ng/ml after gonadorelin treatment.Conclusion of this research shows that gonadorelin hormone treatment increased testosterone level on infertile bulls
