Abstract :
A large number of films have been created based on literacy works such as novels, short stories, or stage plays. A film adaptation of an important literary work has an obligation to be faithful to the spirit of the original text and, at the same time, to be unified work in its own terms. But what if the urge to adapt a work faithfully conflicts with the urge to make a whole work in its own term? Obviously, some considerations must be made to produce a unified film adaptation.
