This brief article aimed at introducing some theoretical ideas on political developing issues regarding the empirical events of politics in Indonesia especially general election Political development theories came from western scholars concerning historical studies of post colonial nations that emerged in Asia, Africa and South Asia. As new nations they confronted wth the lack of democracy institutions
