Abstract :
This research aims to explore the elements of legend in the Legenda Gunung Gong, Gunung Kelir, and Banyu Anget, knowing the semiotic analyzes, and to know the symbolic meanings within the own texts. The result of this research really proves the elements of legend in all aspects such as clergies (wali) as the saints of Islam whose have divine attributes and miraculous events, the playing of wayang which is culturally influenced by Hinduism of India, and supernatural events which has been truly happened in Gunung Gong, Gunung Kelir, and Banyu Anget. There are semiotic analyzes showing the wali as the close persons to Allah and they have miraculous actions, Mbok Rondo Dadapan was textually described as the honesty widow, full in heart, and an uneducated woman. Gong kelir, blencong reflected the important elements in the life which deal to the secretive and unthinkable phenomena.
