Abstract :

The implementation of technology based on research in food diversivication of corn isimportant for community, especially in production centre of corn. The main goal isincreasing the value added of the raw material corn base to increasing the comunitywelfare in rural. This research aimed to know the comunity level adoption of the cornbase diversification research in Lampung Province trough community organization. Thelocation of research were in Sri Bhawono dan Purbolinggo district in East LampungRegency—a corn production centre area, and Bandar Lampung—a corn market centre.Twenty five (25) respondents were chosen purposively in every area. Descriptive statisticand qualitative analysis were utilised for data analysis. The level of adoption intechnology based on corn diversification research performed on interested state (60%),trial state (>40%), and adopted (1,3%). It could be concluded that the adoption processof the new technology neeeded time, intensity, and assistance. The adoption of the newtechnology also depended on social structure condition, goal of group, trust, and socialcontrol mechanism as social capital performed.
