Abstract :

Latar Belakang: Bayi berat lahir rendah (BBLR) merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kematian bayi baru lahir. Bayi berat lahir rendah dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor atau multifaktorial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor sosial (pendidikan ibu dan pendapatan keluarga) dan riwayat penyakit ibu (hipertensi dalam kehamilan dan anemia dalam kehamilan) terhadap kejadian BBLR di RSUD Dr. Soedomo Trenggalek. Metode: analitik dengan pendekatan case control, populasinya dibagi menjadi populasi kasus dan populasi kontrol. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik simple purposive sampling. Variabel independen terdiri dari pendidikan ibu, pendapatan keluarga, anemia dalam kehamilan dan hipertensi dalam kehamilan. Variabel dependen adalah bayi berat lahir rendah. Analisis data hasil penelitian menggunakan Chi Square dan regresi logistik. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pendidikan ibu dan pendapatan keluarga terhadap kejadian BBLR. Namun, ada hubungan antara hipertensi dalam kehamilan dan anemia dalam kehamilan terhadap kejadian BBLR. Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa apabila variabel dihitung secara bersamaan maka tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kejadian BBLR di RSUD Dr. Soedomo Trenggalek. Kesimpulan: Faktor yang memiliki hubungan dengan BBLR yaitu hipertensi dalam kehamilan dan anemia dalam kehamilan. Sedangkan, faktor sosial yaitu pendidikan ibu dan pendapatan keluarga tidak memiliki hubungan terhadap kejadian BBLR di RSUD Dr. Soedomo Trenggalek.
