Abstract :
The given of mangosteen peels infusion had an aim to determine the spermatozoa qualities on acrosome reaction of spermatozoa. The method used for prepairing the mangosteen peels infusion was begun by made small cut on the peels, then drying it at 45°C than smoothed the peels. The dried peels boiled at 90°C for 15 minutes. Two ml infusion was given to the rats by using sonde according to the rats gastric dose. The sonde made for 5 ml syringe modificated with canula. The dose given on rats were 5%, 10% and 15% also vitamin C as positive control and the control was given with aquabidest. The data was analyzed using ANOVA and continued with Tukey method (P > 0,05). The result showed that there were no significant differences between control, positive control and treatment with 5% dose on mangosteen peels infusion. But, another result showed that there were significant differences in control, 10% and 15% dose treatment on mangosteen peels. The optimum dose for giving the mangosteen peels infusion in this research was 10%, and the maximum dose was 15%.
