Abstract :

The sport football began to be know and implement by indigenous people Surabaya in colonial Dutch East Indies since 1900s. The Surabaya people accepted this very popular sport compared with other sports, as seen by the emergence of some bond or a foot ball club that was founded by a group of people in Surabaya both of the Netherlands, China, Indigenous, and Arabic. Especially the people of Arabs, at first they play football perfunctory course, after the formation of the Nederlandsche Indische Voetbal Bond (NIVB) in 1919 they began to be encouraged to come together and form a football club. In 1930 they formed a foot ball club that is An Nasher. Problems studied in this researchis the development of foot ball clubs and the role of ethnic Arabs An Nasher to be Assyabaab in 1948 against foot ball in Surabaya in particular.
