Abstract :

Tulisan ini membahas tentang sejarah seni pertunjukan ketoprak Siswo Budoyo Tulungagung tahun 1958 sampai 1995. Pembahasan ini terdiri dari beberapa hal antara lain adalah pendirian, perkembangan dan surutnya ketoprak Siswo Budoyo. Perkembangannya dapat dilihat dengan aktivitas yang dilakukan di dalam pementasan dan di luar pementasan. Kontribusi yang diberikan oleh ketoprak Siswo Budoyo kepada anggota dan masyarakat Tulungagung terdiri dari bidang pelestarian pertunjukan tradisional, sosial, ekonomi, kesehatan dan pendidikan. This paper discusses the history of the performing art. Ketoprak Siswo Budoyo Tulungagung, in the period 1958 to 1995. This paper consists of several things, these are the establishment, development and decline of the ketoprak Siswo Budoyo. Its development can be seen from the activites carried out instage and outstage. The Ketoprak Siswo Budoyo has contributed to its member and the Tulungagung people in preserving traditional performing art, social, economy, health and education.
