Abstract :

Penelitian ini adalah tulisan yang membahas mengenai Propaganda Pemerintah Orde Baru Tahun 1966-1980. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rezim Orde Baru saat itu berhasil memperoleh legitimasi kekuasaan melalui berbagai cara, diantaranya ialah menggunakan jalan propaganda pembangunan. Secara garis besar pada akhirnya rezim Orde Baru mampu memaksakan rakyat untuk patuh dan tunduk terhadap segala kebijakan yang diarahkan pemerintah, baik dengan cara-cara persuasif maupun represif.    This research discusses about New Order Government Propaganda’s during 1966 to 1980. The results of this study indicate that the New Order was successfully obtained the legitimacy of power through various means, such as development propaganda. Basically at the end of the New Order regime was able to force people to comply with and be subject to all policies directed at the government, either by means of persuasive and repressive.
