Centrifugation of goat semen at freezing process with some concentrate of egg yolk diluent to the quality of sperm

Abstract :

The cooling and freezing of semen will have an effect on negativity to quality of sperm by physical and chemistry structure membrane of sperm.The aim of this research was improve the quality of frozen semen of goat.Semen of goat was collected by artificial vagina and then macroscopis and microscopis evaluated. Semen divided 4 groups, Group I: without centrifugated and added with milk + egg yolk 5%. Group II : centrifugated and added with milk + egg yolk 5%. Group III : centrifugated and added with milk + egg yolk 10%. Group IV : centrifugated and added with milk + egg yolk 15%. The result of this research showed that significant difference (p<0,05) motility, viability and membrane of sperm after centrifugated at equilibration time at freezing process.The conclusion of this research was centrifugated of goat semen can be used at freezing process with supplemented with milk and egg yolk 10%.
