Abstract :
The concept of loyalty is generally used in the field of marketing in an organizationor company. However, today it is possible to be used on a user's information agenciessuch as radio. One radio station is Radio Suara Surabaya, has a program called"kelana kota" which is the core of the radio. Listeners can participate in the radioprograms to interact via telephone to conduct information sharing. This study soughtto describe the loyalty of users (active listener) Radio Suara Surabaya in makinginformation sharing. This study refers to the dimension of user loyalty expressed byBaloglu (2002) that attitude consists of trust, commitment, and switching costs. Inaddition, behavior which consists of the proportion and time spent, word of mouth,and cooperation. This study uses a quantitative approach to the descriptive type.Sampling was done using nonrandom sampling with purposive sampling. Respondentis an active listener Radio Suara Surabaya. The results of this study indicate that theattitudes and behavior of listeners could describe their loyalty. Based on loyaltylevels, can be considered a latent loyalty.
