Crossbreds entog and duck artificial insemination technology of diluted and doses for fertibily

Abstract :
In Indonesia, duck farming plays an important role in meeting the demand for eggs and as an alternative source of income for small farmers. One way of improving the quality of breeding stock is by using crossbreds from various breeds of female Mojosari duck layer by using male entog with artificial insemination technology. In order to test the performance thirty six female Mojosari duck layer and thre male entog, Semen entog was diluted with NaCl 0,9% + egg yolk (4:1) according with the level treatment of dilution (0, 5, 10, 15) and doses semen entog for artificial insemination (0,1; 0,2; 0,3 ml). The result show that egg production from crossbreeding male entog and female duck which collected were fertile (58.44%) and were hacthes (52.96 %).
