Abstract :
This research highlight the importance of Silk Road Economic Belt(SREB) that initiates by China as a power projection capacity and regional cooperation mechanism in Central Asia. This program intend to enhance economic, political and social ties between China and all the previous country that used to engage in the old silk road spanning from China to the Europe. But, the initiatives had its downside with the emergence of Russia as one of the big player in Central Asia. Therefore this research highlight the existing condition that influence the dynamics of SREB impelementation. This research question how the dynamics of Russia-China relations happened in Central Asia. Using the Balance of Power of analysis this paper argues that the existing Russia-China condition representing or resemblance the balance of power condition in which every parties tries to maintain a stable condition in order for trade and economic relation to prosper. Moreover, both countries highlight the importance of stabilities that in the short run dynamics of power managed as stable and as fluid as possible. Eventhough there is a perquisite for great power conflict looming around the region.
