Strategi konterterorisme amerika serikat terhadap isis di irak

Abstract :

This reseach will analyze United States contra-terrorism strategy against ISIS in Iraq. ISIS/IS rises from political constellation and marginalization of Sunni moslem in Iraq and Syria, they use violence and terorism tactics to attack Shiite domination.  This group use religion legitimation based on salafi or takfiri interpretation, it is use to condemn other interpretation of Islam. ISIS often use violent, kidnapping, assasination, and bombingto reach their goals. The rise of ISIS threat cause United State try to destroy them. It’s interesting to discuss because ISIS is non-state armed actor succesfully bring United State to Irregular war in the post-modern world. The writer try to analyze which strategy United States implement in Iraq to destroy ISIS with differentiate between regular strategy and irregular strategy. The conclution from this reseach is United States counter-terrorism in Iraq use combination between regular and irregular strategy.
