Abstract :
Research on the utilization of bacteriocin was aimed to determine the effectiveness of bacteriocin in the handling of sub-clinical mastitis and its effect on milk quality. Sub clinical mastitis were diagnosed by CMT test, and the result of the diagnosis followed by microbiological testing using Total Plate Count Method to determine the number of bacteria. Examination of milk samples performed before and after giving bacteriocin as teat dip. Results of data analysis showed that there was a very real difference between the number of bacteria before and after the administering putting dye bacteriocin by using TPC examination.
