Abstract :

The economy in the contemporary era has an important role for the welfare of society within a country. The current globalization, causing the economic aspect to a more complex, where an interdependent relationship between each other. Global economic stability becomes an important reference for the country to be able to maintain its domestic economic growth. The global crisis, which has been a number of times has had a negative impact on the state or society directly, is like the global crisis in 2008. The crisis comes from the domestic economic problems of the United States, but in this case can have a negative impact on the global including China. In general, China from the beginning of its economical economic development is in the external economy, export and investment. The global crisis of 2008 succeeded in lowering GDP (Gross Domestic Product) significantly. The decline in GDP caused by some of the declining demand in Chinese export destinations, the decline in demand causes the accumulation of unsold Chinese goods, thus causing a domino effect. Hu Jintao as President of China at that time implemented a policy oriented to the content of domestic consumption. But the question is that Chinese society does not have a consumptive culture. In its application, Hu Jintao seeks to capitalize on the potential purchasing power of a large Chinese-owned society through the mid market and financial revitalization. On the other hand, Hu Jintao is also doing social marketing through variant media. It is expected to change the culture of Chinese society into a consumptive and able to support the increase in GDP and provide a stable and sustainable economic impact.
