Abstract :
Model of information warfare in the information age revolution has brought significant changes to the changing nature of war and international conflict. Since the Gaza conflict in 2008, Israeli Defense Force (IDF) is actively using social media as a tool to support every military operation. IDF are actively using social media in military operations at Gaza ,social media such as facebook and twitter was used because it has a high intensity use in military operations. In order to use social media as a psychological operation IDF goal is to conduct perception management and decrease the willingness of Hamas to fight, in addition to gather public support. This paper describes how social media is used by the military in a conflict by taking the case of the IDF and Hamas feud from 2008 to 2012
