Abstract :

Cyprus conflict involves two ethnics; those are Greece-Cyproits and Turkish-Cyproits. In ethnic conflict, ethnic-kin with the main country of its ethnic could lead to intervention. Ethnic conflict between Greece and Turkey over Cyrus’s territory and authority had been widening. It is no longer involving two ethnics but also other countries. The involvement of other state actors in Cyprus conflict is shown by giving support for earch ethnic and also support to solve the conflict. Greece as one of several external actors in Cyprus conflict is not really active on the conflict resolution process. Even Greece is not really active on conflict resolution. Greece take a focus on Greece-Cyproits security. As the third party in ethnic conflict, Greece act on escalating conflict is based on some motives and purposes. This research will talk about the interests of Greece behind Greece intervention in Cyprus conflict.
