Abstract :
User is one of important pactors for every type of organizations, nor beside of library. The important way in order to user knowing that library is available and sets aside information needs is by marketing that library. UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno does marketing in order to people know that eventhough it’s a special library but Bung Karno Library is also carrying out a public library function. Marketing is carried out so that what has been available in library, it can be used and caused the benefits widely. This research is brought about knowing marketing management in UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno using Modern Marketing Management 4Ps analysis. This research used qualitative descriptive approach. The population is all users and visitors and also all accredited members of UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno. Respondences are from three layers ; users, employees and top manager of marketing. Sample methode that used is purposive sampling with requirements : (a) user (1) that having importances in library and not only visiting Gallery, (2) that minimally has been twice visiting. (b) employee that today working under the Cooperation and Information Service sector. (c) management that handling marketing of Bung Karno Library. This research is carried out by using data from questioners and interview
