Abstract :

This research to test potency from Curcuma zedoaria to preventing breast cancer to decrised proliferation activity and to returd alter of histopatology from gland mammae. The Sprague dawley mouse used divided into four treatment group. Extract Etanol Curcuma zedoaria given in 2 dose that is dose 300 mg/kgBB and 750 mg/kgBB every day during 7 week. DMBA used to induce tumor given 2 times one week start second week untill week to seven. Growth of Tumor perceived until week to 12 after DMBA final gift DMBA, and than perceived activity of proliferation with method of Agnor and change of histopatologi with method H&E. And the result is degradation seen of signifikan and change of pathology of dose 300 mg/kgBB and dose 750 mg/kgBB. That Inferential extract of etanol Curcuma zedoaria of dose 300mg/kgBB enough able to give of kemopreventif effect to karsinogenesis of cancer mammae.
