The isolation and identification of prolactine protein of the duck’s serum in moulting phase with sas 50% and sds page 12% methode

Abstract :

This study had been done isolation and identification of the protein prolactine of the moulting duck’s serum in moulting phase with SAS 50% and SDS PAGE 12% methode. The result of this study could used as a scientific base to produce the antiprolactin polyclonal antibody that could accelerate the moulting process. The serum gotten by blood intake at the axillaris vein was added SAS 50%, homogenated, sentrifugated, and dialised. Prolactin characterization started by SDS PAGE to determine the molecule weight. The result of this study showed that prolactin protein could be isolated from the duck’s serum in moulting phase by SAS 50% methode. Furthemore the identification of the prolactin protein by SDS PAGE 12% showed the prolactin at 27 kDa molecule weight.
