Bovine oocytes in vitro maturation in tcm 199 supplemented by bovine hypophisis extract

Abstract :

This study was conducted to evaluate useable hypophisis extract for bovine oocytes in vitro maturation and to evaluate optimum level of hypophisis extract supplementation for bovine oocyte in vitro maturation in TCM 199. The materials used on this research were good quality of bovine immature oocytes from Singosari Slougther. The treatment included : 0 µl, 100 µl, 200 µl and 300 µl hypophisis extract in TCM 199. Evaluation be done to mature oocytes quality based to cummulus development. The data obtained was evaluated by anova. The results showed that mean of mature oocyte for 0 µl, 100 µl, 200 µl dan 300 µl extract hypophisis extract supplementation were 0, 65, 96,6 and 98,3% respectively. In conclusion, hypophisis extract was useful for bovine oocytes in vitro maturation and 300 µl supplementation of hypophisis extract in TCM 199 was the best level for bovine oocytes in vitro maturation.
