Abstract :
Tuban regency government's efforts to follow up the acceleration of poverty reduction is done by using the concept of Model Village. Addressing poverty can not be handled at the same time, efforts to address poverty must start from the first, namely the scope of the government's smallest villages. The model village concept establishes twenty village of twenty districts in Tuban which incidentally is the highest village of the poor population as the locus and focus of the various forms of existing poverty reduction programs, so expect twenty villages predefined models can be an example for other villages in terms of addressing poverty.This study was conducted to describe the implementation of poverty reduction strategies through the village Model implemented in Sub Mondokan as one of the locations designated as model village with theory by Van Meter and Van Horn. This research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative research methods with a technique of determining the informant by purposive and snowball sampling. Data obtained by in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The process of data analysis done by grouping and combining the data obtained and also set a series of corresponding relationships between the data. Validity of the data is done by triangulation data. The results showed that the acceleration of the implementation of policies to reduce poverty through strategies Mondokan model village in the village had been running when seen from the theory that the main drawback S. Smith looks at the factors Idealized Policy Yag assess that communication between organizations terjain only through Musrenbang. Besides the implementation activities which consists of three stages, namely the preparatory stage covers the activities therein target identification and the establishment of groups of beneficiaries.
