Abstract :
United Nation Children’s Fund, widely known as UNICEF, is an international organization under the United Nations. UNICEF has mandate in providinghumanitarian aids and developments to children and mothers in developing countries. In 2006, UNICEF became partner with Football Club Barcelona.The partnership itself was meant to overcome HIV/AIDS in some African countries. The partnership is very unique, since FC Barcelona doesn’t have thesame expertise as UNICEF. This research is aiming to explain why the partnership happened, in spite of this different expertise. Thus, the approachesused in this research are the Public Private Partnership and Nonprofit Branding. The result is that this partnership is used as a tool for UNICEF’sBranding, since it can help UNICEF to communicate its value to everyone world wide.
