Abstract :
This research problems is how urban PNPM Mandiri Program Effectiveness in reducing poverty in the village Morokrembangan. This study uses qualitative research methods with the type of descriptive research and data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. Determination of informants by purposive sampling and snowball sampling followed by covering the informant who was in the village Morokrembangan, members of management and the BKM Morosejahtera Morokrembangan active village community to follow the activities of urban PNPM Mandiri. Data analysis was conducted by examining, categorizing, and combine the evidence obtained to refer to the starting point of the study. Data validity is tested through triangulation of data sources so that the data presented is valid data. Conclusions obtained from this study is the effectiveness of Porgram National Community Empowerment (PNPM) urban areas in an effort to alleviate poverty by empowering the community in the village Morokrembangan has been effective and empowering people though still erdapat things that need to be improved and repaired so that the Compliance Program national community empowerment in the hope the people residing in villages Morokrembangan can be achieved and provides updates to the community in the village Morokrembangan.
