Abstract :
The study aims to describe the implementation of the principles Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in the Brach Office Perum Damri Surabaya. This research uses the qualitative method with type descriptive research. Selection of informants is done with purposive sampling technique. Collection of data is carried out by means of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the technique of triangulation with the reduction of data, verification of data, and presenting interesting data obtained by comparing the information with secondary data and relevant theory. The results obtained from this research indicate that the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in the Brach Office Perum Damri Surabaya so far is not optimal. It is known form the criteria contained in the five principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) 1) Transparency 2) Accountability 3) Responsibility 4) Independency 5) Equality and Fainess. Of the Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles is implemented in the Branch Office Perum Damri Surabaya, two principles is not optimal, that is principle of transparency and principle of equality and fairness. The other is principle of accountability, principle of responsibility, and principle of independency is quite optimal.
