Abstract :
This study aims to determine the performance and Sanitation Department Sidoarjo district in waste management and the factors that influence it. The reason this research background is the garbage problem in Sidoarjo every year the volume of waste continues to increase. But the increase in waste volume is precisely obtained Adipura Sidoarjo regency.This study used qualitative research methods. The type of research is descriptive research. Mechanical election informants using purposive sampling techniques were then developed with the snowball technique. The collection of data obtained by structured interviews, observation, and study documents , Then the data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and test the validity of the data is done by using triangulation of data.The findings of the data in the field show that the performance and Sanitation Department Sidoarjo district in waste management so far has been excellent in dealing with garbage. It can be seen from the response and alertness of employees in solving problems in society, responsiveness of employees, as well as the achievement of the results obtained have been good.
