Abstract :

The estrogenic efect of merica hitam ethanol extract has been studied using three weeks old albino female Wistar rat respectively. The perecentage of the increased uterine weight was determined three days after oral administration of the extract at various doses : 0,5 g/kg Body weight, 1 g /kg Body weight and 2 g/kg Body weight It has been shown that the estrogenic effect of merica hitam extract at the doses of 2 g/ Body weight which was significant.
