Abstract :
Until the Bush Ad ministration, US continued to use coercive and unilateral approach in response to Iran's nuclear case. Nevertheless, the approach can not be said as successful since Iran’s nuclear program keeps ongoing despite the continuing sanctions. On the other hand, the major powers other than the US in the P5+1, which are Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China, are experiencing dynamics related to Iran's nuclear case which leads them to the same position, which is to consider multilateral negotiations as the best way to resolve Iran nuclear issue. Considering that US sanctions and unilateral approaches are no longer reliable for resolving Iran's nuclear case, the Obama Administration was then adapting to a cooperative and multilateral approach which is done by other P5+1 nations. The Obama administration supports multilateral negotiations, until finally JPOA agreement is reached.
